This wine takes its name from Alto Otero, a beautiful landscape where the winery is located, within the municipality of Labastida, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. It is made only with the Tempranillo variety and is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, with a slight percentage of aging in totally new barrels. With this, they achieve an intense and elegant wine, with notes of black fruit, spices, and toasted bread. Very versatile with a large number of dishes, from cold tapas to red meats to cold cuts, cheeses, and bluefish.
